Chris, I remember one night at Christmas time I went into the livingroom to turn off the tree lights before going to sleep. When I reached down to unplug the lights, I was startled by your asking me, "Can we leave them on a little longer, Momma? It just looks so pretty." I turned around and there you were, sitting in the chair, in the dark, just looking at the lights and the tree. I remembered how I too used to enjoy doing this. And now, whenever I'm about to unplug the Christmas tree lights at night, I say to myself, I think I'll leave them on just a little while longer...
